VIP Seats is a company that buys and sells event tickets for individuals, groups and businesses to many hard-to-get events all over the world. We have quietly become the leading provider of premium event tickets to both the travel and concierge industries throughout North America.

Since 1993, VIP Seats has made buying and selling event tickets hassle-free for over 50,000 of their satisfied clients!

VIP Seats, Inc. is a family owned business which was started by siblings Nick and Della Giammusso.

Our Story

Siblings Nick Giammusso and Della Giammusso developed their entrepreneurial spirit
early on, watching their parents strive to build a small business after emigrating from Italy.

It was that same spirit that led Nick and Della in 1994 to found VIP Seats Inc., a ticket company,
with no more than a fax machine, a telephone and a used computer. Drawing from their respective
business experiences, the two were able to transform their startup into a successsful company
through a strategic combination of ticket and travel services.

Nick, who began making business contacts while working for a concert promoter in his teens, learned the art of management as the owner of DIG Landscaping and Lawn Care, a company he started as a high school senior and later sold.  Della shared her brother's passion for the world of business.  Della graduated cum laude from the prestigious UB's School of Management and went on sharpening her skills in the fields of marketing research and sales, which she would later put to use at VIP Seats.

In the late 80's and early 90's Nick worked his way up to Director of Marketing & Ticket Sales at Prime Seats, Inc.   Nick was instrumental in helping to grow a start-up ticket service into what became known as Western New York's Buffalo Memorial Auditorium Box Office!  Nick was making contacts in the Entertainment Field- shaking hands with top performers and celebrities and watching concerts backstage all while earning $100 per day as a sixteen year old. Life was good!

We were fortunate to have so many different experiences at such a young age. These experiences gave us the confidence and developed a foundation for us to build a sound footing for our current entrepreneurial endeavor and our passion- VIP Seats.com!

Type of Business and Current Activity at VIP Seats

Nick and Della Giammusso (brother and sister) decided to start a premium ticket company from the basement of their family home in WNY. Both were unemployed from their positions in the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium box office in 1993 when the Aud closed its doors for good to make way for the new HSBC Arena.

We were out of work for one month or so and we continued getting bombarded for ticket requests from family, friends, and regular customers at home and on our cellular phones.

So we decided to start a premium ticket company that day on August 24, 1993. We had the connections and business savvy to get our supply of quality event tickets. The demand was there with every message left in our voicemail. Our initial start-up was less than $1,000 for a fax machine, telephone and used computer.

With little overhead, and not a dollar of long-term debt, we were profitable from day one of our company's existence.

Our strategy was to deliver unprecedented customer service and to acquire quality event tickets for our clients.  The public was accustomed to buying tickets from behemoth TicketMaster who had a monopoly in most US markets.  Customer service was not their strong suit and it was difficult to acquire quality tickets to major sports, concerts and theatre events.  TicketMaster was and still is today, a company that satisfies sports teams and concert promoters and cares very little for the ticket buying public.

With our experience in the industry, we knew we could develop a niche by offering top notch customer service and quality seating!  

Over the years we've established our niche in the ticket business and our customers keep coming back for more!
